Touro, influenced by Minding’s core material and the shape of a bull. The spark of inspiration was transformed into a timeless bentwood bar chair, crafted to stay around for a very long time.

The piece owes its aesthetic values and durable construction to a well-thought design and high-quality materials, providing extra back support for long periods of sitting at the bar or a taller counter.

Touro means 'bull' in Portuguese and it was chosen to name that unique chair for two reasons. First, the backseat is shaped like the back of the bull’s head with slightly bending bull-like legs. Second, the original design was made with one of the most sustainable materials in the world, cork, which comes from Portugal.

Being eco-friendly, antibacterial, providing warm seating comfort, and a good grip, cork is ideal for a chair surface. If you prefer, it is also available in American walnut and oak.

Those are just a few of many corks’ characteristics without even mentioning its beautiful natural look and myriad of colors options to choose from.

Like all our chairs, Touro meets the strictest environmental requirements and is among other things 100% formaldehyde-free adhesive.

Touro also comes with armrest and as an office chair with two types of legs.
